We’re looking for a driven Medical Information Manager to lead project delivery, manage a high-performing MI team, and provide exceptional client service across our growing Medical Information portfolio.
About the Role
In this leadership role, you will oversee the operational and strategic management of your assigned Medical Information project portfolio. You will:
- Lead and coordinate Medical Information project teams to ensure timely, accurate, compliant delivery of client services
- Act as the primary liaison for clients — managing expectations, providing scientific and strategic guidance, and ensuring ongoing satisfaction
- Oversee the full lifecycle of client projects, including scoping, proposals, resourcing, execution, reporting, and follow-up
- Mentor, supervise, and develop MI Associates and Junior Associates, fostering a high-performance team culture
- Ensure all medical inquiries are handled with accuracy, scientific rigour, and alignment with client SOPs, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
- Maintain and enhance MI knowledge assets, including standard response documents and databases
- Ensure timely identification and reporting of adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) in line with ANZ safety requirements
- Support internal and external audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Work collaboratively with other business units to enhance service offerings and drive efficiencies
- Contribute to business development and client retention by identifying opportunities, nurturing relationships, and supporting proposal development
- Play a key role in operational excellence through process optimisation, performance tracking, and quality management activities
What You Bring
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or relevant scientific qualification
- 3+ years’ Medical Information experience, including supervisory responsibilities
- Strong scientific evaluation and communication skills
- Knowledge of MI systems, QMS, and Australian/NZ safety reporting requirements
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and people leadership capabilities
- Additional language proficiency (Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean, Mandarin) is highly valued
- Consulting experience a plus
