The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an early career professional to join our Medical Information team. You will work alongside multicultural and diverse group of peers, in the challenging and fast-paced life science sector.
As our team is expanding, we are very keen on bringing in English or multilingual (Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese or Vietnamese) speaking professionals. Your language skills and cultural insights will be invaluable in helping us grow and enhance our services. This role will not only allow you to develop your expertise but also contribute significantly to our international outreach and client relations.
Our Junior Engagement Training Program (JET Program) is a two (2) year program designed for early career professionals and graduates. This role will report to a Medical Information Manager on a two (2) years fixed full-term contract.
As a Junior Medical Information Associate you will answer phone and email inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and internal stakeholders. With excellent communication, time management and multi-tasking skills, you will record calls and/or emails and provide accurate medical and scientific information while following quality procedures. Using medical databases and scientific literature you will shape your responses and collaborate closely with your team to ensure reliable and precise information is delivered effectively.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Receive, assess, and address medical information enquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and internal client staff.
- Conduct literature searches using PubMed or Medline to gather relevant information for query resolution.
- Provide timely responses to customer queries with accurate technical and scientific information.
- Ensure proper reporting and follow-up of potential adverse events and product complaints.
- Adhere to relevant regulations and client requirements regarding customer complaints, adverse events and enquiries.
- Translating documents between English and Japanese or Korean or Mandarin, and providing translated responses through phone calls or written communication (where applicable)

Desired qualifications and experience
- Have completed studies in pharmacy, nursing or relevant scientific disciplines such as Drug Development or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Experience in a medical information, call centre or customer service role (preferable within healthcare or pharmaceutical industry), is highly suitable.
- Proficiency in literature search and technical writing, is preferred.
- Native and professional-level proficiency in Japanese, Korean or Mandarin is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly developed organisational and time-management skills.
