Melissa Sampson-Curry

Executive Director

Melissa Sampson-Curry joined in the early years of Commercial Eyes, in 2003, and has played a key strategic leadership role in the growth and financial sustainability of the company. As Executive Director, Melissa forms part of the strong partnership that has made Commercial Eyes so successful and is responsible for the operational management of the Non Consulting Division which comprises of Finance, Business Operations, ICT, and People & Learning functions.


Melissa has brought a wealth of experience to Commercial Eyes and has an intimate knowledge of the company. She is particularly interested in the evolution of Commercial Eyes’ continuous improvement program, leveraging the latest technology and developing high performance employees, to ensure the underlying efficiency and capability a professional services company requires to consistently deliver excellent client service.


As Commercial Eyes has grown over the years, Melissa has been responsible for the relocation of the business on various occasions. From customising purpose built CBD office spaces, to ensuring the seamless transition of 100 staff to work remotely during the Covid pandemic emergency, these are among some of her proudest achievements.


Melissa is a passionate promoter of Commercial Eyes’ Community Engagement program which has contributed to a number of local and international charities for many years.

Since completing an undergraduate degree in economics and politics at ANU, Melissa had a successful career in the Banking and Finance sector prior to joining Commercial Eyes, and has gone on to postgraduate studies in finance and management at Melbourne Business School & the Australian Institute of Management, and has also completed the Company Directors course at the AICD.


Melissa’s company Executive Director responsibilities extend to the Commercial Eyes subsidiary business’s Maxx Pharma and Essence Medical Communications.
